DESCRIPTION: Market Day in colonial America will be re-created at the annual Greenwich Artisans’ Faire & Marketplace. This year is bigger and better, featuring over 85 juried vendors, artisans, craftspeople and historic displays i.e. fiber arts & weaving, pottery, photography, handmade baskets, handcrafted jewelry & accessories, leather items, hand-crafted wood items & furniture, all-natural handmade soaps, local hone, hand-blown glass, original fine art, vintage handbags, hats & clothing, handcrafted brooms, Wheaton Arts Glassblowers, Civil War re-enactors, guided walking tours through the town, all museums open and free to attendees, food – from full dinners to snacks, Jersey fresh fruits, vegetables & flowers, and family style entertainment in a kid-friendly environment. You will want to spend all day with us!

It is our goal to successfully fill the grounds with skilled, juried artists and craftsmen and women who not only sell 18th and 19th century products but also demonstrate how crafts were made during life in early America.

Welcome to historic Greenwich on the Cohansey. This village was long ago a royal port of entry for ships from other colonies and Europe. Greenwich is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as “Greenwich Historic District” and contains at least 27 significant surviving houses and two early country store buildings of architectural interest. Often described as a town where time stood still, Greenwich today remains closely similar to the Greenwich of three hundred years ago.
