Kilt Fest NJ is an annual event.
WHERE: Liberty Lake,
1195 Florence-Columbus Road,
Bordenton NJ 0850
(Burlington County New Jersey Festivals, Celtic Festivals.)
DESCRIPTION: Kilt Fest NJ is a gathering of Scottish and Irish, Celts and Gaels to celebrate our culture. Kilts are encouraged and pants are optional. Events at Kilt Fest include the Highland Games, a Kilt Run, a Fictional Medieval Battle, bagpipers, a concert featuring great Irish and Scottish bands, a Beer Garden featuring locally made Celtic Craft Brews from local breweries, Kilt Contests, and great craic in a beautiful setting at Liberty Lake, Bordentown NJ.
Kilt Fest NJ starts out with the Kilt Run on Sunday morning. The run is 2 miles and open to all ages. The only prerequisite is that all runners must wear a Kilt!
The Highland Games begin in the morning as well. Watch world-class athletes toss the caber, hurl the hammer and throw heavy stones for distance and height in this ancient Scottish sporting competition. The athletes will be on hand to demonstrate and guide any person who wishes to try their hands at the different Highland events. Kilted Warriors from the Knights of Crossford will engage in a kilted battle.
There will also be vendors selling Irish and Scottish Food and Merchandise. This is a one of a kind event, open to all who are interested in the history and culture of the Gaelic Culture and the 7 Celtic Nations. (America is the 8th Celtic Nation in our opinion.) Don’t miss it!
Vendors Needed!
Any and all types of vendors wanted.
Arts and crafts vendors wanted.
Food vendors wanted – to serve food at our event (food trucks, caterers, etc.)
Vendors who sell food items wanted (baked goods, candy, coffees, teas, dip mixes, spices, etc.)
This is a unique event combining the medieval Celtic aspects of the NJ Renaissance Faire with the Highland Games and music of a Scottish, Irish or Celtic Festival. We are looking for Vendors who can offer merchandise or food with some type of Celtic connection.
